My roommate has been playing a new video game for the last two months. Twelve to eighteen hours a day or night. I don't see him that much unless I cook.

I tried to talk to him in the first month. That would be no response.

Second month slid by. I could see him walking by the microwave and walking back to his computer.

I said "You might want to lay of that."

He said "You're right."

The next day...

He was in his room. How can a person watch TV, type on a laptop also watch the screen of his home computer from across the room and check his video game via cell phone?

He asked me why I've been so distant.
